Dr. James McKenzie graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, Missouri in 2002 and is a diplomate in the American Chiropractic Neurology Board as of December 2013. He has also gotten his Bachelor's of Science in Human Anatomy. He now resides in Moscow, ID since August 2013.
Dr. McKenzie keeps current with regular post-graduate education, including Sacro-occipital technique (SOT), Applied Kinesiology (AK), fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, functional medicine utilizing blood chemistry, wellness physiology, visceral manipulation and cranial manipulation. He is constantly taking part in continuing ed programs through neurology, including traveling to seminars and studying in between patients as often as he can.
Dr. McKenzie has a philosophy of holistic care for his patients. He studies up on nutrition and can test patients to find out what they will respond best to. He is constantly attending seminars to understand how the human body is interconnected to help his patients obtain their best health.
Dr. McKenzie uses a "whole person approach". This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. McKenzie is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
